The Cycle of Hope team is made up of two main parts: The Cyclists and the Support Team. Below are some profiles (listed alphabetically) to help you get acquainted with the Cycle team. Be sure to visit them at the provided links.

CYCLISTS:

Benjamin HARRIS
28 years old
Cyclist | Grizzly Man

Benjamin has been involved with the Wesley Foundation over the course of the past nine years. The impact that the Wesley Foundation has brought to him is evident in his positive attitude in life. He loves athletics, such as weight lifting, cycling, and running. The Cycle of Hope is the perfect mission to him: a chance to make a difference in people’s lives as well as go on an unforgettable journey. Training alone has challenged him physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Benjamin is interested in working further as a missionary. He is interested in the fields of Linguistics and Non-Profit management. He loves helping other people and he always seizes the opportunities to do so, believing the words of Jesus that “whatever you did for the least of these, you have done to Me.”

Daniel NABERS
23 years old
Cyclist | Man With The Plan

Daniel is originally from Atlanta, but has lived in Valdosta for almost five years, where he graduated from Valdosta State University with a degree in Anthropology and a minor in Religious Studies. He is currently working as an intern at the Wesley Foundation. He finds his excitement for the Cycle of Hope to be uncontainable. God put this opportunity in his heart and Daniel simply prays, “that the trip may be what God wants it to be and that He may use us however He sees fit.”

Ade ONI
22 years old
Cyclist

Ade is a recent graduate of Valdosta State University. Although he has lived in several different cities, Valdosta is where he calls home. He is currently an educator at a local public high school. As a believer, he seeks to make his faith known in every aspect of his life.“Love God with all of your heart, mind, and soul. And love your neighbor as yourself.”

Danyell WARNER
22 years old
Cyclist

Danyell is a senior at Valdosta State University, majoring in Mass Media with a concentration in audio production. She is the former president of the Triathlon club on campus and has been a strength and conditioning intern with the college. Her college career, she claims, has been a roller coaster rider. This led her to discover where she truly was with God, and she realized it was not enough. This realization prompted her to give more of herself in service to Him. The Cycle of Hope team is one of the many forms in which she serves.

SUPPORT TEAM:

Mike BROWNING
21 years old
Media | Resident Nerd

Mike is a senior Mass Media major at Valdosta State University. He enjoys using his technical talents to glorify the Lord. He was called to serve in a behind-the-scenes capacity in the Cycle of Hope, but believes breaking the cycle is truly something to be done every day.

Allan CELICK
22 years old
Support Vehicle Driver | Friendly Neighborhood Turk

Allan is a Special Education major at Valdosta State University. He is Turkish by birth. Later in life, he wants to teach, primarily out of his love for sharing knowledge. This love carries over into the Cycle of Hope team as a hunger to teach others nationwide about the truth of homelessness and poverty. Having been an integral part of Wesley Foundation missions (locally and in foreign countries like Turkey), Allan is taking a new step by joining the Cycle of Hope team.

Janetta EVANS
24 years old
Support Vehicle Driver | Musical Accompaniment

CJ HARP
29 years old
Campus Minister | Resident Baller

CJ serves as the Campus Minister at the Valdosta State Wesley Foundation. He is a 2003 graduate from VSU and is currently finishing a MDJU from Asbury Seminary. CJ is happily married to Emily Alford Harp and they have a wonderful three years old son named Alex. CJ always seeks to conform to the image of Christ for the sake of others.

Natali MARTINEZ
22 years old
Support & Publicity

Natali is a senior at Valdosta State University, with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Religious Studies. She willingly admits that the purpose of her life is to serve: “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to accomplish his work,” (John 4:34).

Ben's BEARD
42 years old
Scruffiness | Gloriousness

Ben's Beard is well maintained, with a full, thick build, smooth texture, and dark brown tone. It's favorite beard product is Barbasol w/ Aloe Vera, for that smooth, cool feeling when being groomed. Ben's Beard also enjoys the wind from riding fast on a bike and long walks on the beach.
